For a long time, Smooj, a brand of cold pressed juice for the struggling artist, has been one of our top-liked projects on InspoFinds' social media.
A playful packaging project by (then) student Josephine Hermanto, "Smooj is an affectionately quirky cold pressed juice dedicated to bring back energy and brightness to artists, who need a break from their art projects. The combination of torn edges and modern typography creates a unique artistic look."
The juice, 'dedicated to bring back energy and brightness to artists, who need a break from their art projects', is the perfect medicine for creatives requiring an extra, healthy boost!
Josephine's project has had a brilliant year, it was an Adobe Awards Semifinalist and has been featured on many a design blog.
Using a hip flask glass bottle gave Smooj a very distinctive look from other cold pressed juice bottles. The rough, torn paper gives the label a healthy, organic feel, as well as targeting the down to earth art-y crowd. It was printed on a creamy-uncoated stock, which fits the brand well.
The branding itself plays with the double Oo from Smooj, this is then printed with white ink and displayed in a minimalistic mark on the cap. A delightful brand which appeals to its target audience and beyond. Hope it tastes as good as it looks!
